Data Collection
Squeezed.co.uk uses cookies set by WooCommerce which can be viewed here. Our contact forms will collect the data you enter and also your IP address.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
When you purchase from the Squeezed website, we also collect your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card details), your email address and phone number. This information is classed as “Order Information”.
Data Usage
We use your data to fulfil any orders placed in our online web shop or via your trade account. We may also use your data to communicate with you, and screen orders for potential risk or fraud.
In line with your preferences, we may send you advertising information relating to products or services that could be of interest to you.
We will not share your data with anyone not affiliated with the Squeezed product brand.
Email marketing messages and subscription
Under the GDPR rules we use the consent lawful basis for anyone subscribing to our newsletter or marketing mailing list. We only collect certain data about you, as detailed in the data collection section above.
Email marketing messages that we send may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of data such as times, dates, IP addresses, opens, clicks, forwards, geographic and demographic data. Such data, within its limitations will show the activity each subscriber made for that email campaign.
Any email marketing messages we send are in accordance with the GDPR and the PECR.
